• Blade tension system uses a T-handle attached to an Acme-threaded 1″ rod. For fine adjustments, a torque wrench can be applied to the T-handle, allowing precise blade tensioning

Safety Features

Interlocked Guards & Door Safety:
• Immediate power cut‑off when guards/doors are opened during operation.

• Deadman Throttle System:
  • Automatically disengages the clutch to stop the band wheels from spinning when the throttle is released.
• Emergency Stop:
  • Instantly cuts power in hazardous situations, when activated.
• Operator Positioning:
  • Designed to create a safe reactive distance via reach arm distance for optimal operator safety. The robust frame also creates a barrier between the operator and the spinning blade.

​Hardwood Mills’ sawmills feature a centralized control panel on one side, providing safe access to all functions—including throttle, blade lubrication, tensioning, adjustable slide guides, and emergency stop—while positioning the operator away from sawdust discharge.
